Summary:
We are seeking a Project Manager Specialist to manage the design and construction of generation, transmission, substation, and distribution projects. This role requires oversight of project budgets, schedules, scopes, risks, and safety compliance. The specialist will coordinate with key stakeholders and ensure project delivery meets organizational goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee design, construction, and commissioning of complex projects valued between $150k and $5M.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and risks while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to coordinate design, construction, and operational activities.
- Develop comprehensive project management plans, including timelines, budgets, milestones, and resource forecasts.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting for project funding.
- Lead and participate in project closeout processes, including after-action reviews for continuous improvement.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Construction Management with 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
- Associate's Degree with 9+ years of Project Management experience, or High School Diploma with 12+ years of experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with a focus on safety.
- Knowledge of NESC safety standards and FCC regulations is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines in a regulated environment.
Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License (Required).
Working Conditions:
- Combination of office and outdoor environments.
- Exposure to inclement weather, rough terrain, and extended work hours.
- Travel required to various company sites and overnight locations.

- Pre-Employment Drug Screening and Physical Assessment.
